Patagonia Bottoms: Patagonia Fleetwith romper fading/damage to material

I have the chance to buy a Patagonia Fleetwith romper for 60% off. There is considerable damage to the material on one of the legs. It’s not a stain or bleaching, but a fading of the color in several spots. I don't know if it’s from sunlight or being clipped/clamped a certain way. I’m hesitant to purchase as Im not sure this is fixable?

Patagonia Bottoms: How can I patch holes in the crotch of my Patagonia Trail shorts.

All of my Patagonia Trail Shorts develop holes in the crotch, usually within a year of purchase. This is after the liner disintegrates, usually within 6 months.

I love the trail shorts, they just don't last in the crotch. I usually just cut out the liner, but eventually the outer layer's crotch-area also develops large holes. Is there a way to patch these?

Bottoms: Rusty bleach spots on black Serenity pants

Serenity pants are stretchy yoga/exercise pants. Mine are black. I accidentally washed them with a white top that had a stain I’d soaked with bleach. The bleach left some rust colored spots on my black Padagonia Serenity pants. Is there a dye for this kind of material I can use?

Thanks.

Patagonia Bottoms: How to best patch a tear in polyester and elastane man's shorts?

My son tore his Patagonia 91% polyester 9% Elastane shorts. The tear is about an inch long but frayed. I stitched the sides of the tear together but it doesn’t look great and is a bit bunched as I had to pull a bit more fabric into the sewing as the fabric frayed a bit. Can I use an iron on patch on the polyester and elastane material? I am not sure if I will melt the fabric. I would appreciate any guidance you can give about how to repair the tear and/or whether I can use an iron-on-patch the fabric. Thank you.
