My name is kostas and I got the Cannon PIXMA4000 almost for 7 years. I was keeping it in very nice conditions without hitting him or overusing him. It started showing problems with colours. I have never service him cause i hadn't any problem with him till now. But now, I need him usually for some projects and i cant have my photos well-printed. I need some help,I dont really know how to fix it. I made him all the cleanings computer offers you but i still got the same problem with his colours. Sometimes the yellow is printed light red and the black blue. Pls help me as quicklier as possible. I don't think that this is all ink fault, i think its fault of the printhead, i took him of but i dont really know if i can clean him off and how. Did anyone know more about that problem? PLease help me find out how i can fix it

Hi all,

I own a Canon Pixma Ix6850 which I couldn't see listed as an option. I have had this printer for 2 weeks and I have been printing with 220gsm matte photo card on A5, A4 and A3.

My issue is the A4 (only) is constantly not feeding then saying jammed. Like the printer won't take the paper. I use the same spec paper for all 3 sizes and it never jams for A5 and A3. But for A4 it is every single time. I am at a complete loss on how to fix it.

I have the settings on Matte Photo Paper with the high quality setting.

Can anyone advise?

Printer fed all 15 sheets of paper when I tried to print. Now all wrapped around inside. When I turned off printer, waited a minute, then turned it on again. As printer restarted, it pushed all paper out about an inch then quickly pulled it back in and stopped. Why won't the load of paper be moved all the way thru?

I accidentally gave too much power to my adapter and checked it with my device. There is a short circuit in the adapter, I guess there is no problem with the motherboard. but I cannot find which component is defective on the circuit board. Can anyone with knowledge help?
