Current setup:

- DJI Fly App version: 1.20.0

- Aircraft Firmware: 01.00.0600 (latest version)

- Battery level: Above 50%

- Surface: Flat and level

- Arms: Folded in

I have already tried restarting the drone, controller, and app multiple times. I have also tried the correct power-on sequence (controller then drone). What could be preventing the calibration from starting? Is this a known software bug with this app version, or does it indicate a total hardware failure of the IMU chip on the motherboard?

I purchased a Mavic Air 2S from EBay but I’m getting an error on the DJI Fly app that says

“Aircraft bound to another account. Change account and try again.”

I tried to reach the seller and no response. Is it possible to “unbind” the Air 2S from the previous owners DJI account?

I just bought a DJI mini 3 pro that turns out to have severe water damage (it's a little complicated, but I'm not too disappointed). Shockingly, it mostly works (no errors, only the rear right motor has a little more resistance than the rest so it can't quite fly); the previous owner didn't even know it was water damaged. It's been at least a week since it got wet, likely much longer. I'm going to follow this tutorial to clean off the motherboard, replace the ESC entirely, and probably follow the same steps for the camera module (is this safe?). However I have a couple questions:

1. What is that white stuff? It seems to have been used to glue some of the connectors, but whoever did this obviously didn't actually fix the water damage.
2. Should I do anything extra/differently because it's been corroding so long?
3. Can I do anything for the motors (flight and gimbal)?
4. Are there any listings for the thermal paste on amazon that could arrive quicker with prime? I couldn't find any.

• Replaced front left arm
  • Broke GPS ribbon cable
  • Small plastic cube came off the gimbal cable
• Replaced GPS ribbon cable with one from a M4p
  • Now flies
  • Gimbal stuck error (yaw/roll don't move, but all axes move manually)
• Replaced gimbal cable with one from a M4p
  • Damaged pitch motor ribbon cable during disassembly, replaced arm and motor with one from a M4p
  • Gimbal is now detached from the drone
  • No errors, gimbal moves when held
• Reattached gimbal
  • Gimbal does not move, no video feed
  • Tons of errors (see pictures)

I'm confused by the downward vision sensor error. I didn't mess with anything but the gimbal after I got it working while detached other than to try and address these issues.

Hi,

I was inquisitive to see which GPS module DJI used for this model, so I removed the shield. This disturbed a few components, as can be seen in the image, and didn't show the GPS chip.

Does any one know which way round the component bottom right should be or what it is?

I hope you find it interesting, but I suspect it may never work again.

P.S. I looked closer at the component, but it's not clear. Here's what I think it says on it: ASAXAF K61444T

P.P.S. When I removed the GPS shield, I used a pin in the small hole, which slid some components off.

I've just found that the shield is magnetic, so I could have used a magnet.
