Garmin Vivoactive HR: display broken / need replacement display

Hey everyone,

unfortunatly I crashed the display of my Gamin Vivoactive HR.

I called Garmin for a replacement and they told me its about 150€.

Is there any other possibility to replace the display by my own?

Buy the display seperatly anywhere ?

I am thankful for every help

My watch was on low. attery amdnstopped responding, time is stuck at 5:09, non of the buttons work, I cant turn it off. The screen lights up when I press button but won't turn off. When plus into charger nothing happens. Please help:)

I need to find just the glass for replacement. My VivoActive HR is fully functional but the glass is cracked in numerous spots. Touch is fully responsive and not broken so I do not need a digitizer, but just the glass. PLEASE HELP

The band post on my VivoactiveHR cracked and now the band is being held on by only three screws. Is there a way to repair that or get a replacement piece?

Garmin Vivoactive HR: I can't turn on the GPS on my Vivoactive HR

I just bought a Garmin Vivoactive HR, which I love! However, I'm unable to turn on the GPS... the device is paired to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) and garmin connect without any problems. There's supposed to be an option under, "Sensors" that says, "Glonass", but it's not there. Any advice or help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Garmin Vivoactive HR: Not going past the Garmin start up screen

It died one day and now when I try to turn it on it turns on to the Garmin screen then immediately off, sometimes with a quick white flash that looks like the workout screen but then to the Garmin start up and off, it also won't show the charging screen when plugged in. I already tried hard resetting and the both button thing.

My vivoactive HR appears to have died. The battery was low and I went to charge it. When I hooked it up the screen came on then faded and looked as if it had a dead battery(little battery with a lightning bolt) and then went black. It has been plugged in charging but there is not response. After a day or so I can plug it in and get the same response. I have tried resetting it but to no avail. Could this be a bad battery, or more serious problem….software?

Hi,

I have 2 annoying issues on my Vivoactive HR watch:

The activity start/stop button is not responding (not to short/not to long pressing) anymore
when resetting the watch, by pressing the left button for >15sec, the watch gets stuck at a kind of tech summary screen showing software version/SN/time/temperature/… as you might see in picture attached,

Only once in a while, I’m unable to have the watch switched on, but then I’m stuck at issue 1 while all other functions work as they should (e.g. syncing with mobile/touchscreen is reactive/…)

Someone familiar to these issues & knows how to resolve them?

I ordered a replacement screen for the Garmin Vivoactive HR, and it arrived with a clear digitizer, with 2 ribbon cables, but no LCD. My original LCD is working, it is the digitizer that cracked. Can I separate my LCD from the original broken digitizer and use the LCD, or was I sent something less than I should have been?

I don’t know if my smartwatch get an hit were has broken lcd. There are not any visible sign or any broken glass…. But when I charge up I show some “flashing” under display. smartwatch do not turn on, and I think that display is broken or battery falling… anyone help me?… If I can I try to post some screenshot when I come back. After I recharge my watch the touch screen stops working until I reboot the watch. It will work perfectly until I recharge the watch again.

Garmin Vivoactive HR: Accepting calls to Android phone

I can accept calls to my Android phone on the Garmin Vivoactive HR. However, the loudspeaker on the phone isn't turn on when the call is accepted so the person calling me can't hear me. Any suggestions re how in sending the accept call over Bluetooth to the phone that the turn on loudspeaker (hands free mode) signal could also be sent?
