Home Audio Amplifier: Crown Cdi 1000, both ch. signal LED’s jumping, no input audio, no out

I have a Cown CDi 1000 that’s has movement in the signal LEDs on both channels , it bounces from 1 green to two. The problem is that this happens when no signal is being applied and when you do send signal you get no audio nor do the LEDs react. Has anyone had this expierence? This is a dual channel issue, no faults. Any thought on where I should poke around? This CDi1000 is a 2009 model, I repaired the power supply, mainly the kick start area, the 48.7k resistors were pretty toasty, who ever had it before me did a number on C196 so that was replaced too. Could U14 cause this kind of issue?

Home Audio Amplifier: Sansui AU-X410R - no bias voltage on either channel. PIC incl.

Hi guys,

a little stumped with this one. I picked the amp up for next to nothing from a local charity shop. Fired it up via my dim bulb, and it worked, but only just. The output/volume is extremely low. I measured voltage across the emitter resistors, and I'm getting 0 on all 4 of them.

I have checked the power section, and the main rails, and I'm getting around 45v per rail, so that seems ok, Output transistors appear to be ok, and measure fine.

To complicate matters, I cannot find a service manual/schematic for this amp anywhere.

Any help, pointer, tips, would be much appreciated!

Thanks!!

Hello,

I have a Denon PMA 757 and its power relay is not turning on. Therefore there is no power. All fuses are OK. My observations; 1) R301 is overheating 2) Transistors around R301 seems to be fine 3) All my measurements around R301 and transistors show +/- 50 V and this does not match some of the values indicated on Service Manual,

I would highly appreciate if someone can help me.

Astro Mixamp: Mixamp pro audio jack replacement

Hello, I have a Mixamp Pro from Astro. I believe the audio jack is unfortunately no good as any movement headset side of the 3.5mm jack causes it to become disconnected. I have also had to replace three headsets as the right ear keeps dying (different brands).

How could I go about replacing the audio jack on the Mixamp itself? Or how could I go about buying a new audio jack.

Home Audio Amplifier: NAD D 3045 firmware fail

I wouldn't be myself of course to leave something alone and enjoy it as it is ie plug it in and listen to music. After careful reading of the NAD website I discovered that there is a firmware update for the NAD D 3045.

I tried doing a firmware update from V115 to 2.11 and then to 2.07 when the previous one failed. The serial number is H86 so I thought all would be well. While the BT firmware installed correctly, the MCU firmware did not. The amp has an amber LED in standby mode, when I press the switch on the remote, twice, sometimes once it turns white, no response to touch or the physical ON button. Can you please help me? Is it possible to get the original software file somewhere? How does it need to be formatted and what size USB stick for this operation? I have been using a SanDIsk 64GB formatted to MS-DOS.

Regards,

Tom
