Samsung Television: Red standby light blinks once, TV won't turn on, Samsung LED TV

Hi there,

I have a Samsung 55" LED Smart TV, model number UN55H6350AF. The TV when plugged in, will have the standby red light on solid. When I try to turn the power on, the red light will flash once, then stay solid again. The TV will do nothing, I hear no sound like the TV is even trying to power on, nothing.

My friend took the TV to a local repair shop, and the guy figures the issue is with the LED strips and quoted a insane price to repair the TV. This TV is just two years old! I was hoping someone may have some insight to this issue so I can look for parts to repair the issue.

Thanks for your time and knowledge!

Ryan

Samsung HL56A650C1FXZA 56-inch DLP TV: Bulb startup continuously resets, TV wont stay on

I have a Samsung HL56A650C1FXZA DLP tv. It is about 7 years old. Two days ago, it wouldnt get past the bulb LED light cycle. It began to endlessly cycle the bulb startup process. I purchased and installed a new bulb, which worked for about 30 seconds, started up, had a picture, then began resetting endlessly again. I had a picture, so I know the color wheel is working. The door switch is working, as the LED lights up correctly when I had the cover off. At this point, I am guesing it is the ballast, as thats the only part left thats replaceable for the power process. I hear the ballast power up, I see the bulb light up, I'll get picture for a moment, then it goes i to endless reset. Please help.
