Screen won' turn on after battery replacement

I am trying to replace my battery in the Moto360 Sport. I replaced the battery, however the screen does not show anything. It vibrates and the screen gets bright, but nothing else. I made sure everything is connected. Does anyone know what may cause nothing to show on the screen? I'm thinking I broke something with the battery replacement however I see nothing out of the ordinary.

I’m leaning towards testing the battery with a multi-meter somehow. I’ve tried two batteries and both have the same issue. It’s possible the new batteries are still old and need to be warranty replaced - have you looked into that yet?
