WIreless RGB mechanical Keyboard from Logitech

Charging port broken it won't charge

How do I replace the charging port in my keyboard. I dropped the keyboard while it was plugged in and the middle piece inside the charging port was bent out of place and ever since then won't charge. I tried to move the inside peice back into its original place but that didn't work either.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@christianr67270 sounds like you will have to do some soldering :-). First off, take some good pictures of your damaged port. It could be Micro-USB or a Type-C port. Next, you will need to disassemble your keyboard. Also not a guide, this teardown should be helpful for that. Once you have to bottom removed, take another couple of good pictures of where the port is located. That way we can see if the traces etc. are still good. Once you have all that, it'll be time to find a replacement. Mouser or Digikey are usually my go-to for parts like that. Only issue is that you will have to search by dimensions since your port will not have a part number etc. Ultimately you'll have to disassemble your keyboard, desolder old connector, resolder new connector :-)
