Nintendo's first 3DS handheld device released February 2011, identified by model number CTR-001.

Nintendo 3DS won't turn on.

Hey guys!

My name is Neto and I've been having a problem with my Nintendo 3DS for a few months now.

Some time ago I ran out of 3DS chargers, so I put off buying another one, but after a month I finally bought one. When I plugged it into my 3DS to charge, I left it charging for a long time, and then when I turned it on, it wouldn't turn on at all. The orange charging LED appears, but when I press the power button, it doesn't turn on. After a while I tried again, but now another situation has occurred. The console would turn on, the orange LED would light up, and after a while the LED would disappear. I had to unplug the charger and plug it back in to turn it on, but it always disappeared. Note: I tried with another battery from a friend of mine that was working normally, but without success.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi Neto!

Since you already tried to replace the battery, it's most likely something on the motherboard.

Did you tested it with another official Nintendo charger?

If yes, then you mostly want to check the motherboard. Please check the fuses and check the battery pins.

In the worst case, you need a new motherboard...
