Background
Razer Laptops are gaming laptops made by Razer Inc. an international gaming hardware manufacturing company, esports and financial services provider. They are based in Irvine, CA and Singapore.
Razer laptops are geared towards gamers but are good for other creative types as well.
Razer’s first attempts at a gaming laptop were in 2011 with the Razer Blade. In 2013, the first Razer Blade Pro was released. And it wasn’t until 2016 that they released the first Razer Blade Stealth which received a design award at CES the same year.
Razer Blades come in many configurations and the Pro version is a portable but with a big screen so it can be a desktop replacement. According to GamesRadar, Razer laptops have the GPU that is comparable to many gaming desktops as well as displays that make gaming visually appealing but they are not made for heavy processing for video rendering or encoding.
The best new Razer laptops of 2020 according to Gamesradar are the Razer Blade 15, Razer Blade Pro 17 and the Razer Blade Stealth 13.
Identification
These laptop are recognizable by the three snake logo on the laptop cover, and the name "Razer" below the display. Serial and model numbers are located on a sticker on the bottom of the machine.
