where can i buy the usb mic part?

jorg123 - Reply Share

I have a [newish] 14” Asus 3 [Blue Al./gold trim]. One of my grandchildren has wrecked one of the usb 3.1 sockets on the right [Output] side.

Is it possible to renew this socket? I have all the tools + mini soldering iron. I could connect the remaining one to a usb hub I suppose but it’s an expensive machine and I would rather it be repaired.

Any help/advice very much appreciated. Regards - Denis
