    • If you have this item and the turn switch resists turning on, this is because there is too much friction where the turn switch rubs the safety control micro-switch. You need to detach all the fittings to be left with the base, then remove the 11 screws (all the same size) keep them safe.

    • Once you have separated the two halves, you will be able to see that the knob on the switch has a cam that, when you turn it, depresses the micro-switch. In this photo the bottom on the micro-switch is red since I have already put red grease on it to reduce the friction.

    • This is the micro-switch from side on. You can see the red grease that I have put on it.

Very helpful for fixing the stuck power knob.
I just fixed mine this way and it works like a charm. It only took a few minutes and cost nothing.
