    • Get your microfiber cloth (or any softer cloth) and gently wipe the white surface, and the sensor on the AirPods. You can also put a very little amount of your isopropyl alcohol on the rag

    • After this very carefully rub the mesh parts of the bud (with a dry part of the cloth) to free-up some of the earwax or dirt

  2. How to Deep Clean AirPods 3 (buds only), Getting around the speaker mesh: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Now grab your spudger and carefully, slowly work your way around that lip where the mesh sits to get or earwax there

  3. How to Deep Clean AirPods 3 (buds only), Getting inside the mesh: step 3, image 1 of 2 How to Deep Clean AirPods 3 (buds only), Getting inside the mesh: step 3, image 2 of 2
    • Now take your Q-Tip and put it inside the rag, so the rag has a nice point this allowed the cloth to have a strong tip to get inside the mesh

    • DO NOT USE THE Q-TIP WITHOUT THE CLOTH OVER IT THE COTTON FROM THE TIP WILL GET STUCK IN YOUR AIRPODS MESH

    • Gently rub around in all directions inside the mesh to get earwax out, you can also use VERY little isopropyl alcohol to help DO AT OWN RISK

    • A really easy and good trick to see if its all gone is to take your bud and shine a light right in to the grill, and if you see a some shine there is still earwax left.

    • If there is more left repeat step 3, but please note you will not be able to get it perfect.

A few points:

- I personally like to use the https://www.target.com/p/apple-airpods-3... cleaning pen

- I do not use a rag, I also use more than a conservative amount of hydrogen peroxide instead of alcohol. This always cleans my airpods thoroughly. I just leave them with the grill down to let any liquid drain out.
