What you need

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Logitech G915 Wireless (Clicky), use our service manual.

  1. Logitech G915 Wireless Full Size Screw Locations, 21 Screw Locations (Front Side): step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Location of 21 screws (Red Dots). All screws are same size on the front. Keep separate from backside screws.

    • Remove two screws (Blue Dots). The screw are hidden underneath the sticker. Peel the bottom left and right to reveal them.

    • CAUTION: Make sure the keyboard is switch off before removing the battery. Battery is attached to cover. Disconnect battery from keyboard before fully removing cover

    • There are three different types of screws on the back. Keep separate from each other. In this guide they are color coded(Yellow,Pink,Green Dots).

    • Remove 6 screws from the back cover(Yellow Dots). One is covered by the keyboard stand.

    • Remove 2 screws from battery compartment(Pink Dots).

    • Remove 2 hidden screws(Green Dots). These screws are located underneath the 2 rubber pads. You don't need need to completely remove the pads. Just peel them back enough to get to the screws. The pads are the one on the top left and one on the bottom middle

    • After removing all the screws. The back cover and the front cover should separate. There are no clips holding the two together.

    • IMPORTANT: To remove the metal faceplate/PCB, you must desolder all key switches. The keyboard uses a "sandwich" design: switches are snapped into the metal plate and then soldered to the PCB. This locks the layers together. You cannot separate the metal face plate from the PCB without removing the switches first.

    • Follow guide backwards for reassembly
