Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Buttons are Unresponsive

Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Buttons are Unresponsive

If the buttons in your Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 do not respond when being pressed, follow this troubleshooting guide for potential solutions.

Causes

1

Sometimes dirt and debris can get stuck in the camera case during use. To fix this, first take off the protective case on the PIXPRO by unscrewing each panel, cleaning under the case and in the buttons. Do not clean with excessive amounts of water or other liquids; this can destroy the electronics. If this does not fix the problem, go to motherboard replacement page.

2

Sometimes the LCD may be turned off accidentally, or the brightness is too low.

  1. Press the Display or info button to toggle the screen view.
    1. Make sure the battery is fully charged before testing the screen.

3. Try pressing the menu button.

If this does not fix the problem, go to Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 LCD Display Guide

3

For the motherboard to be fixed, the whole board must be replaced. To see how, go to Motherboard Replacement Guide.
