wifi Direct button disabled on MFC5750

So the WI-FI Direct button seems to be disabled. Whw i push it nothing's happening, just i hear a bip sound.

Wherever I found something about this, the instructions start with "Press the wifi Direct button" but for me I press it in vain because it is inactive.

Do you know how to activate this button?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi @marcel7577

Check if the WiFi Direct option has been turned off.

On the printer go to Settings → Network → WiFi Direct → I / F Enable to either turn it on or off

I can't enter the WIFi Direct menu because it's disabled. That's exactly the problem

Try resetting the network and check if it works after that.

Go to Settings → Network → Network reset.

@jayeff

I solved it. I disabled wlan and activated wifi Direct.

It took me a while to realize that on the same wifi device, wlan and wifi direct don't work at the same time...

It would have been nice if brother said that wifi direct doesn't work at the same time with wlan.

thanks
