Black and white screen

One night I wanted to install a game on my ps4 and I left it to install the next day o found my ps4 off and when I turned it on the screen was black and white like old movies.i turned it off and let it sit for 10 minutes or so and turned it on and the same, changed the hdmi port and the same problem.but when I connect it to another tv it works.but I dont know if I can do something to use my old tv or I need to give up on it and get it repaired.

Hi!

Did you replaced the HDMI cable?

Would do that first.

Are other devices working on that TV?

Did you tried to check the settings on your PS4? How is everything setup there?

i didnt try to replace the cable because idk if I have another one.the tv works perfectly only on the ps4 connection is the problem.and I looked in the settings and everything looked good

i will look for one around the house if not I will borrow one from a friend to see if it work.
