Introduction

Are you having issues reattaching your cuff buckle? Did your replacement cuff buckle come with rivets? This guide will show you how to reattach the cuff buckle on your PAPASION A306S. In order to complete this attachment, you will need a rivet gun and 4.8mm rivets.

What you need

Step 1 Cuff Buckle

Place the skate on a flat surface.

Locate the rivets on each side of the cuff buckle.
There should be 3 rivets in total.

Insert Pozidriv PZ2 screwdriver into the back of each rivet and twist until the rivet is shaved down enough to pop out. Repeat as needed.
Apply heavy pressure.
If there are issues removing rivets, use a power drill with an 11/32 inch bit.
If using a power drill for this process, avoid loose clothing, and tie back hair. Wear safety goggles for additional protection.

Stripping the rivets will produce metal shavings and dust. Use caution and dispose of them in the trash.

Remove the plastic part of the cuff buckle with the attached cuff and discard.

Your skate will look like this once they are removed. There are two ways to attach the new cuff buckle:
If your new cuff buckle comes with rivets, please use this guide.

Place the skate on a flat surface.

Align the cuff buckle with the strap on the outside holes.

Insert the rivet into the first hole from the outside completely until flush with the skate.

Insert the long, straight rivet into the rivet gun until it's completely covered.
Squeeze the rivet gun repeatedly, until it detaches from the rivet.
You will hear a pop.
Discard the detached metal rod.
